Happy Easter!

Because Matthew and I won't be able to spend the holidays together over the next year we are living in our own world right now and celebrating different holidays on different days over this next week. I decided to make yesterday Easter! Matthew was visited by the Easter Bunny who brought him an egg with a little note in it. The note read: "Dearest Love- Since we will not be spending holidays together over the upcoming year I figured we’d get a head start on celebrating at least one of them together before you go! Today. In our world…it’s Easter and the Easter Bunny must have visited…because you’re being sent on an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt! Follow the clues to find your dozen eggs which will eventually lead you to a grand prize! Happy Hunting! Let’s start this game off right, beginning somewhere warm and bright!  Clue #1: It is here that your wife likes to bask in the Colorado sun! While your away…always think of the smile on her face when it’s a bright sun-shiny day!!"

 Matthew really enjoyed the hunt which eventually led him to the hiding place of his wife who was holding an Easter basket full of goodies! In addition to the hunt we also added Easter egg coloring to our list of festivities! What a fun and eventful way to spend one of our last few days together before the long separation! :) Wonder what tomorrow will bring?? That's for me to know and Matthew to find out...which just kills him!
