Zac Brown Band Concert

Matthew and I went to the Zac Brown Band Concert on March 5, 2010. It was a decent show...definitely not the best we've ever been to, but still fun. Our complaint was that they played a ton of songs from their new album that has yet to be released...so half the time you were just standing there listening to songs that you didn't know. We both enjoy going to concerts were we know all the songs (or at least the large majority of them) and being able to sing along...it makes for a much better time! However, it was a chance to get out and about and spend some much valued time together!!

Our favorite part of the whole concert was when they played their well known song "Chicken Fried" my favorite verses being... "And its funny how it’s the little things in life that mean the most Not where you live, what you drive or the price tag on your clothes There’s no dollar sign on a piece of mind this I’ve come to know So if you agree have a drink with me Raise your glasses for a toast To a little bit of chicken fried ** Cold beer on a Friday night A pair of jeans that fit just right And the radio up You know I like the sunrise To see the love in my woman’s eyes Feel the touch of a precious child And know a mother’s love** I thank God for my life For the stars and stripes May freedom forever fly, let it ring. Salute the ones who died And the ones that gave their lives So we don’t have to sacrifice All the things we love Like our chicken fried... Cold beer on a Friday night"

We went to the same concert here the night before. I love Zac Brown Band. We were lucky enough to get seats right next to the stage. We were hanging on the fence!!! We loved it.
