Today, my friend Emily came down from Columbus to visit for the day!! We had planned on going horseback riding at a place here close to home called Branded Ranch---but come to find out (after she'd already made the drive) their hours are posted incorrectly online and that are in fact not open on Tuesdays--bummer!! So, because we were really looking forward to it my mother, being the wonderful woman she is, set out to find another place for us to go horseback riding--she made a few calls, spoke to a crazy old man who requested pop cycles and cussed at her, and after all his commotion we decided it wasn't worth our lives (which we feared would be endangered by this creeper) so we called it a loss. Butttttt just when we thought that being with horses that day was a no go, a family member offered us a ride on her horses...thanks Angie!! And perhaps that didn't go quite as well as planned either but was appreciated nonetheless! We at least got to pose with a horse and I got a nice kick out of it...haha...ouch...but fun still :) We also now have a couple funny stories to tell from our day, right EmO?
